Dear friends and supporters:
IT’S FINALLY SPRING! Technically, it’s been spring for a while now but it sure hasn’t felt like it. There is something so refreshing – even rejuvenating – about the feeling of the sun and warmth on your face. New life pops up all around us and we feel it within ourselves as well! It is a genuine “RE:” time of the year!
It is also the time of the year we launch our RE:SOUL Spring Fundraiser. Like last year, the fundraiser will take place online, meaning you can participate by simply clicking a button, going to our website, and making a donation. We will also be communicating with you regularly over the next several weeks via email. This fundraiser is absolutely essential to our success but it is also a great opportunity for us to share with you a little more about our work at the youth centre and a little more about the amazing youth we work with!
The fundraiser begins this Monday, May 7th!
We hope that over the coming weeks you’ll participate in the Spring Fundraiser and help us continue to serve the youth of Milton. We also hope to give you a window into the all-important work of caring for young people! They are the future, yes, but they are also our today! I dare say there is little more important than investing in the next generation – today!
